Joining SXSW London as a Venture Spotlight judge
Judging the flagship funding competition backing the next generation of European founders.

This June I'll be joining SXSW London as a judge for their flagship Venture Spotlight start-up funding competition, designed to showcase and support the next generation of European founders.
As a co-founder and investor at Empirical Ventures, and someone who has spent much of my career working with deep-tech and deep-science founders, I care deeply about helping researchers and scientists translate breakthrough ideas into companies that can change how the world works.
Building a company around frontier science is rarely straightforward, and the right backing at the right moment can make a huge difference.
